Webinar Description
This Ask the vCIOs session focuses on the importance of developing and implementing a comprehensive Disaster Recovery Plan. Chris Sousa and Michael Feldman explore the key components of an effective disaster recovery plan, including an introduction to “disaster recovery” and how it is different than the current backup solutions that may be in place. They also review how to begin developing a customized disaster recovery plan, including assessment of risks, development of policies and procedures, and the importance of rehearsal to ensure the plan provides the expected results. This session is designed to help each attendee understand in practical terms the benefits of addressing these contingencies before they ever become an issue or impact their ability to recover from a disaster.

Chris Sousa, Vice President of Enterprise Design at Dataprise

Chris Sousa joined the Dataprise team in 2008 as the head of our Cloud Services division. As our Vice President of Enterprise Design, Chris is now responsible for technical solution design, pricing, and technical support for our business capture teams. He also works on researching cutting-edge technologies and developing new products and services to add to the Dataprise service portfolio.

Chris has over a decade of experience working at Managed Service Providers including two MSPs in metro Atlanta serving in various technical and managerial roles. He studied Computer Engineering at Southern Polytechnic State University, and holds numerous technical certifications including Certified Novell Administrator, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, and VMware Certified Professional.

 

 

Michael Feldman, Manager of Strategic Technologies at Dataprise

Michael Feldman joined the Dataprise team in 2014 as Manager of Strategic Technologies on the Enterprise Design team. Prior to that, Michael was Founder and President of X3O, LLC, formed in 2003 to provide enterprise level support to small and medium sized businesses. X3O was sold to Dataprise in 2014 along with all of its employees and clients. Prior to founding X3O, he developed and implemented a National Data Center Consolidation Strategy on behalf of Freddie Mac. He also served as Vice President of Information Technology at Vaultus, a Mobile Solutions Provider, as Director of Information Technology for CMGI Solutions, and as Manager of Web Applications at Teligent, a wireless telecommunications provider.

Michael has a BA from the University of Michigan and has additional graduate credits from the University of California, Berkeley.
